introduction.

Hi all.

I have no idea who will read this blogg or why exactly i am doing it!
I just wanted to have a space to write about my ideas and thought as i see them, and see if others out there had any comments, arguements, or suggestions to my musing.

I am a 29 year old bloke from the home counties in England- some would probably put me in the middle class i suppose. I am interested in politics and take a keen interest in the news and daily events surrounding the democracy in this country and feel that we, as the electorate, are not being listened to. As such i have concerns that the public will not rekindle any interest in politics of any nature and we will be left to be governed by an elite political class who have no grounding in the real world.
It is hard for me to see how some of our politicians can 'preach' and comment on issues they have no real experience of. A big gripe is the education of 'high profile' politicians. They talk about education and how it is either improving or not (as the case may be). Yet if it is so good why do they continue to send their children to schools who are either privately run, or are very loosely in the state sector? It is beyond me! If schools are improving then why are businesses talking about a lack of reading and writing skills?
If they are improving, why are results published on the same day so that missed targets can be brushed over?
People need to remember how they got to being MPs etc in the first place, and that is that they are there to represent us and our views.
